The 2023 festive season officially opened with the 10Eighty annual Christmas party for sponsors, clients and colleagues.
As usual we invited a glamorous crowd of the great and good from London’s HR community to enjoy excellent wine, delicious bowl food, good company and pupils from the Centre for Young Musicians.
In lieu of the usual very short speeches, Liz and Michael recited some ‘poetry’ and as a result we are encouraging them to stick with their day jobs 😉
Our venue was The Shard, on the South Bank, which affords stunning views and buzzing atmosphere, the ultimate mix of sophistication and glamour. A 95-storey supertall skyscraper, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, with stunning views over the river to the embankment and the City.
The festive season is a great favourite with 10Eighty, we love a party! Tuesday’s event was a great opportunity to celebrate all that we and our associates, alongside our clients, colleagues, suppliers and friends, have achieved throughout the year, as well as being a fun opportunity to catch up and tune in.
It’s always nice to meet face to face and build on relationships the old-fashioned way with networking, chit-chat and the exchange of pleasantries and information. Just like the old days before lockdown!
Team 10Eighty wish you all a happy, healthy Christmas.
A good time was had by all and if you didn’t make it to the party, we look forward to catching up with you soon. Below are some notes about our musicians:
Centre for Young Musicians (CYM)
CYM believes music education should be available to all, irrespective of means to pay, privilege or chance and has enabled thousands of talented young Londoners to realise their musical dreams. Next year, CYM celebrates its 50th anniversary and its flagship ensemble, the London Schools Symphony Orchestra, its 70th in 2021. To mark these important anniversaries, it has launched Young at Heart, a fundraising campaign, to raise £1m, to give another 1,000 talented young Londoners the opportunity to access high quality music education over the next decade. 10Eighty is delighted to support this appeal.
