After 10 years in general management, culminating in running an IT operations function, Barry entered the world of HR where he held senior roles in sectors as diverse as automotive, professional services, IT services and real estate. He was Chief People Officer for the FTSE250 technology company Computacenter and the UK’s largest commercial real estate business, Landsec Plc. Barry has deep experience of executive remuneration and is also a qualified company secretary. He is an experienced Non-Executive Director and Remuneration committee chair for listed, as well as private and not for profit, organisations. Barry is also a member of Kilfinan group which exclusively provides mentoring for charity CEOs. Barry has a relaxed and direct style that draws on coaching techniques and listening skills to guide and support CEOs and Chief People officers though challenging situations that face executive teams. A strong networker, Barry believes in drawing from his experience and his network to support his clients.
