The UNDP Career Labs are dynamic, online learning sessions designed to assist UNDP personnel in planning and advancing their careers. Unlike traditional webinars, these Virtual Career Labs create an interactive environment that promotes “learning by doing,” encouraging employees to adopt proactive career management behaviours.

Outcomes

During the year, UNDP in collaboration with the Career Labs partners delivered 38 webinars in English, French and Spanish. There was an increase of 39.62% in the number of total registrations from 13,368 in 2023 to 18,665 in 2024 and a 98.38% increase in the number of live attendees from 3,950 in 2023 to 7,836 in 2024. This indicates that UNDP personnel across the world are positively taking action to develop their careers as we promote a culture of continuous learning.  The overall participation satisfaction rate is 96.4% in 2024, an increase of 1.6% from 2023 – consistently a remarkable satisfaction rate 😊

 From the sessions you delivered, Managing Difficult Conversations and How to Write a Successful CV were the most popular with 544 and 406 attendees respectively; and both sessions reached the ceiling of 1,000 registrations. Overall, the feedback from post-session surveys has been positive and which is confirmed by the 96.4% participants satisfaction rate.
