The UNDP SPARK Programme, delivered in collaboration with 10Eighty and UNLOQ, is a transformative three-month initiative designed to empower women across the United Nations Development Programme. Open to national and international staff, SPARK supports participants in advancing their careers through self-awareness, leadership development, and strategic career planning.
In 2024, 117 women were selected from 590 applicants, with priority given to those from hardship and crisis contexts. The virtual programme included six core modules—covering self-awareness, imposter syndrome, personal branding, networking, competencies, and leadership styles—alongside one-to-one coaching and access to a Fuel50 talent intelligence platform.
Participants reported significant improvements in career development skills, with 83% rating themselves as ‘skilled’ and a 78% increase in the ability to create personal career plans. The programme fostered a supportive community and lasting alumni network, reinforcing UNDP’s commitment to gender equality and continuous learning. Testimonials highlight SPARK’s transformative impact, building confidence, purpose, and leadership capability among women leaders worldwide.
10Eighty is proud to partner with UNDP in delivering SPARK, helping women unlock their potential and contribute meaningfully to the UN’s mission for global progress and sustainability.
