It can be hard to find time for volunteering. However, volunteering can be exceptionally refreshing and rewarding. Volunteering can allow you to connect with others, enhance your skills and knowledge, improve your career prospects and more.

Over the past couple of years, volunteering rates have been increasing especially digital volunteering. It is estimated that during the pandemic 90% of voluntary organisations moved online. Furthermore, the volunteering rate in 2020/21 hadn’t been that high since 2013/14.

In today’s episode, we are joined by our host Sarah Burgess, 10Eighty career coach Liz Oseland, and guests Mario Fablo and Genevieve Mary. They will look at how volunteering can help with your career development, how much time you should set aside for volunteering, and how you can demonstrate your volunteering experience on your CV.
