The 2024 festive season officially opened with 10Eighty’s annual Christmas party for corporate sponsors, clients and colleagues.

We hosted a gathering of 107 esteemed guests from London’s HR community, who enjoyed excellent wine, delicious bowl food, and exceptional company!

Liz and Michael gave a short speech reflecting on highlights from 2024 and gave an idea of what’s to come in 2025.

Liz spoke about our exciting partnership with the Global Talent Hub across Europe working in workforce transformation and outplacement; and working with the United Nations. We’ve been working with the UN over the last 4 years and now work with 5 UN agencies and have delivered in 107 countries.

In 2025, we’re excited to unveil several key initiatives. We will publish our Purple Paper on the ‘And Beyond’ Leader 2.0, exploring the essential competencies for future-ready leadership. Additionally, we’ll launch our innovative marketplace platform, enabling corporate clients and employees to access 10Eighty’s services directly, along with a range of wellbeing offerings.

Michael will also release his highly anticipated sequel to The Guide to Everlasting Employability (still available on Amazon for £13.68!) – Going Portfolio, a comprehensive guide for those looking to embark on a portfolio career.

Our venue was The Tate Modern, on Bankside, which affords stunning views across London. The 9th floor of the Blavatnik Building offers panoramic views of the city including the Shard and St Paul’s cathedral.

The room was brought to life with 34 uplighters glowing in purple and several purple Christmas trees, setting the perfect festive mood!

Guests were treated to a delectable menu, including canapés like duck, shallot, and red wine tart; poached lamb with rosemary crumb and redcurrant jelly; and whipped goat’s cheese with quince jelly. Sweet treats such as pavlova with gingerbread cream and roast quince compote, and hand-painted rum and raisin chocolates added to the indulgence. For those craving something heartier, hot bowls like honey-roast ham hock with truffled mash and crispy shallot-topped leeks offered perfect winter comfort.

The festive season is a favourite at 10Eighty, and Tuesday’s event was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the year, shared with our associates, clients, colleagues, suppliers, and friends. It was also a wonderful chance to reconnect, celebrate, and enjoy some festive fun together.

Team 10Eighty wish you all a happy, healthy Christmas.
