The social event of the season arrived on Wednesday 5th June with just over 100 guests joining us at The Shard.
Everyone enjoyed the stunning views across London in this unique venue, just one of The Office Group’s many impressive spaces.
Food glorious food
Guests were offered an appetising selection of canapés throughout the evening including: chargrilled chicken with hoi sin served in shot glass, lemon and thyme chicken brochette, pan fried sirloin rolled in horseradish & fresh parsley, duck liver parfait with plum chutney on soft brioche, crostini of smoked salmon and cream cheese and king prawn Vietnamese summer roll.
Vegetarian guests enjoyed chargrilled asparagus rolled in parmesan & fresh parsley and wild mushroom, hazelnut & parmesan filo cup.
For the seventh time CEO Michael Moran delivered one of his animated speeches which included plenty of thank yous, a mention of his daughter Hannah’s approaching nuptials and reference to how global we have been this year.
With Barnardo’s as our chosen charity this year, we also heard from Debbie Moss, their Chief of Staff who told us all about the amazing work they do to support vulnerable children.
We are also thrilled to announce that we raised £1,200 on the night for the charity auctioning off a magnum of champagne. Thank you to everyone for being so generous!
As the speeches concluded Liz Sebag-Montefiore brought out the bespoke birthday cake made by Konditor & Cook a very delicious Victoria sponge topped with marzipan icing.
No birthday party is complete without a party bag full of goodies. Every guest received Champagne bubbles, sweets, a mindfulness colouring book with coloured pencils and a newsletter with all the very latest from the 10Eighty team.
