The HR Excellence Awards were held earlier this week (is it us or do these awards seem to come around quicker each year?!). They are the longest-running, most prestigious and most hotly-contested awards in HR, now in their 22nd year with a record number of entries.
Since 10Eighty started up we’ve always supported the HR Excellence Awards, initially sponsoring the Rising Star and Young Talent categories, but for the last two years have supported the HR Future Leader of the Year category.
This award recognises game-changing HR directors of the future and is open to any HR practitioner below HR director level, the rising stars who have already made a big impact on their organisations.
This year the awards were hosted by comedian Meera Syal on Tuesday 27 June at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
Congratulations and high fives to Steve Othen, Head of HR at REC for winning this amazing accolade, but not forgetting Rachel Kent, Senior HR Advisor at Shakespeare Martineau for being shortlisted, which is still a great achievement. Here’s a nice pic of Steve with our CEO Michael Moran and host Meera Syal:
The night was a huge success and a great opportunity to network, let your hair down, and celebrate truly strategic, innovative and business-critical work with fellow HR professionals.
10Eighty would like to extend our congratulations to all the winners, highly commended, and shortlisted entries on the night.
