Survey winner donates £100 to Rethink Mental Illness

Just before Christmas we sent an email to a number of our HR and L&D colleagues asking them to complete a 5-minute survey about collaborative learning. The results will be published in a white paper in February 2016.

Rethink-Mental-Illness-LogoEveryone who took part was entered into a prize draw to give £100 to a charity of their choice and we’re pleased to let you know that Katharine Jones won the draw and her chosen charity was the national mental health charity Rethink Mental Illness.

When we sent the donation on Katharine’s behalf recently we received this email from Rethink Mental Illness, which we wanted to share with you:

Thank you so much for your online donation of £100. Your donation today will help us could help us answer calls from people like Alice, and give practical advice. It could help us work with local supporters to take action to fight for fairness. And it could help us campaign in the media and share the truth about how mental health is underfunded.

Your kind gift means we can continue to help people like Alice:
“I’ve had a lot of support from Rethink Mental Illness, they have been amazing. They are very person-centred and focused on recovery, and never patronising. I remember one time I was very unwell and was having trouble speaking, and got through to their crisis team – they were so good.”

Because your support is so important to us we’d like to keep you informed of our work. However, if you don’t wish to continue hearing from us please let our supporter care team know by emailing supportercare@rethink.org or calling 0121 522 7007 and we’ll happily oblige.

Best wishes and thanks again,

Mark Winstanley
