On Tuesday 30 June, we took part in the HR Excellence Awards 2015, one of the key events of the HR Calendar. More than 600 HR professionals gathered in the London Hilton Park Lane to celebrate the very best in the HR profession. A few of the 20 awards handed out on the night included:
- Best learning and development strategy – won by Virgin Atlantic
- Best HR team: private sector – won by River Island.
- Best HR strategy overseas – won by the National Environment Agency (Singapore).
River Island’s HR team had a lot to celebrate about after winning four awards, including the coveted HR Excellence Gold Award and the ‘Most effective recruitment strategy’.
